At Lulu Guinness, a red lip was never just a lip. For autumn/winter 2026 it turns to gold, goes to the party and packs for the weekend.
Lulu Guinness launched her label in 1989. Her witty, vintage-tinged handbags have since earned a place in the V&A's collection, which holds five of them. The lips clutch became the signature: glossy, a little pop art and impossible to miss across a room. This season the brand looks to the Surrealists of the 1930s and sculpts that famous pout into gold jewellery.
Here's our edit of the season, starting with the bag that started it all.

The Lulu Red Lips Clutch
Every Lulu Guinness story starts here. The glossy acrylic lips in signature Lulu Red are part handbag and part conversation piece, and they're as at home at a wedding as at a gallery opening. The clutch has a magnetic closure and an inside slip pocket, and it now comes with a detachable gold chain, so you can wear it crossbody and keep your hands free for the champagne.

The new chapter
Surreal Gold
AW26 takes the lips somewhere new: into sculpted jewellery inspired by the Surrealists of the 1930s. Each piece is moulded in recycled brass, plated in 18kt gold with a 24kt flash, and engraved with the LG monogram. The cuff is the boldest of the collection. Wear it on its own over a black polo neck and let it do the talking.

The Disco Ball
First seen in 2014, the mirrored sphere is back for party season, now lined in chartreuse green. Every facet throws the light back at the room, and it hangs from a wrist strap, so it swings as you dance. If one bag was made for New Year's Eve, it's this one.
