Why I started, and why I keep going
I've just been told I'm a finalist in the Media category of the Female Founder Awards, and I'm still taking it in. Thank you to whoever nominated me.
Anne Louise Magazine started in 2009 as a printed glossy, free across Lincolnshire. It was very popular, but personal circumstances meant I had to stop printing and take the magazine online.
My passion for showcasing businesses and female founders, sharing their stories, and bringing readers quality content has never changed. I love it so much that I've also started Female Entrepreneurs HQ, a community where I can showcase and help even more women in business.
It's an amazing feeling when a small business owner sells a product or gains new clients after being featured. It's why I started. It's why I keep going.
Over the years I've worked with small and large businesses, helping them share what they love and, through that, grow. Thank you to everyone who supports me: readers, businesses, friends and my family. You all mean the world to me.
