Founded by lifelong friends Megan Marlow and Natasha Makara, ChaLuMu grew from their shared journey of navigating everyday life as single mums, all while quietly managing anxiety and PTSD behind the scenes.
Like so many women, anxiety was something they carried silently. The racing thoughts, the social overwhelm, the constant feeling of being on edge — it became part of daily life.
Everything began to shift when they discovered breathing necklaces. Using them during anxious moments brought a sense of calm and control — but there was one problem. The designs they found felt clinical and uninspiring, not something you’d naturally reach for as part of your everyday style.
So, they decided to change that.
