Luxury British lampshade brand Tinker & Tallulah has unveiled The Jewel Collection: a new limited-edition range created in collaboration with interior designer Nina Watson (aka @ArtDecoJewel).
Designed to address a gap often overlooked in the market, the collection brings together heritage-inspired pattern, distinctive silhouettes and rich, expressive colour.
The collaboration began with a clear vision. When approached by Tinker & Tallulah, Nina knew immediately that she wanted to create the lampshades she could never quite find – timeless pieces designed to complement layered interiors rather than overpower them.
Drawing on heritage damask patterns, the collection introduces a more contemporary palette of colours that are rarely seen in traditional lampshade design, including deep reds, teals, pinks and golden yellows.
The name of the collection emerged organically during the design process. Seeing the finished designs together for the first time, Nina noted their jewel-like quality, leading to the individual shades being named Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Citrine and Rose Quartz.
Each lampshade is handmade to order in Tinker & Tallulah’s Nottinghamshire studio with a focus on precision, finish and attention to detail, from pattern placement across seams to the brand’s signature swishy tassels.

Nina Watson added:
“I’ve always felt that lighting is the jewellery of a room – it’s what brings the atmosphere, the glow, the magic.
“With this collection, I wanted to create the lampshades I’m always searching for in my projects. Pieces that feel right in a layered interior, without shouting over everything else.
“Working with Tinker & Tallulah has been an absolute joy. When I saw the first samples, they were even better than I’d imagined! The finish, the detail, the way each piece glows when the light’s on – it’s the kind of craftsmanship that makes something a forever piece.”
The Jewel Collection is handmade to order, reflecting Tinker & Tallulah’s slow, considered approach to design and production.
The lampshades are available in two sizes: 35cm diameter, ideal for table lamps and pendants (£275), and 45cm diameter, suited to floor lamps and larger pendants (£345).
