Kimberley Walsh Brings Statement Marble Home with Wickes

Three new mosaic tiles from the Kimberley Loves with Wickes range show how marble has moved beyond the classic, with colour, texture and personality

Marble has long been the material of choice for a timeless, luxurious finish. For generations it meant polished white slabs, grand hallways and hotel bathrooms, admired for its elegance but rarely seen as playful. In 2026 that changed. Interiors moved towards statement stone and personality-led spaces, and marble followed with bolder colours, sculpted surfaces and patterns that put character first.

In July, presenter, singer and DIY enthusiast Kimberley Walsh joined that shift with three new marble mosaic tiles. They are part of Kimberley Loves with Wickes, which she described as her most exciting home décor range to date. Each design is made from high-quality natural stone and costs £16 per sheet. That puts the look of a designer bathroom within reach for everyday homes.

“Marble is having a real moment in interiors, but I wanted to give it a modern twist – using fresh colours, textures and patterns that make it feel personal and versatile,” Kimberley said. “Tiles are such a great way to add instant luxury and character to a space, and these designs can completely transform an empty wall or splashback.”

Why Marble Has Gone Personal

Statement stone is part of a wider move away from safe, all-white schemes. Homeowners increasingly want rooms that reflect who they are, with materials that bring texture, warmth and a sense of story. Natural stone does this well because no two pieces are exactly alike. The veining, tone and finish vary from tile to tile, so even a small area feels individual.

Mosaics take that idea further. Instead of one large slab, marble is cut into smaller pieces and arranged into patterns, which adds movement and detail to a wall. The format also makes marble easier to use in real homes. A sheet of mosaic tiles can cover a splashback, frame a bath or line a shower niche, giving the richness of stone without committing an entire room to it.

Palazzo Verde Feather Marble Mosaic – £16

The Palazzo Verde is for anyone who wants a space that feels calm but still polished. Its soft green natural marble is laid in a feather pattern, which gives the tile an elegant look that stands out from more familiar mosaic shapes. Green has become one of the most popular colours in interiors because it brings a sense of nature indoors, and in a muted, stone form it feels soothing rather than loud.

The design is clearly a personal favourite: Kimberley chose it for her own ensuite. It is a good fit for bathrooms that need to feel restful without looking plain. It would sit comfortably alongside warm wood, brushed brass fittings and soft white walls, or it could be paired with deeper greens for a cocooning, spa-like feel.

Viola Bianco Fluted Linear Marble Mosaic – £16

Sheet size: 308 x 302mm

The Viola Bianco suits a lighter scheme with a high-end, tactile finish. Elegant white marble is shaped into a fluted design, so light and shadow pick out the texture of every line. Fluting has been one of the defining details of recent interiors, appearing on furniture, cabinetry and lighting, and here it gives a classic material a fresh, architectural edge.

The effect adds depth to a wall while keeping the clean, bright look that white marble is known for. It works well on a splashback, a shower wall or an alcove that needs a quiet focal point. Because the colour is neutral, it is also one of the easiest designs to live with long term, and it suits both modern and more traditional homes.

Marcelli Verde Reeded Linear Marble Mosaic – £16

Sheet size: 308 x 298mm

The boldest design in the trio is the Marcelli Verde. It pairs a deep green colour with a distinctive reeded texture, giving a strong, stylish finish for anyone happy to make a statement. Dark tones have grown in popularity as more people embrace moody, enveloping rooms, and stone is an ideal way to bring that depth in without it feeling flat.

Kimberley used it in her family bathroom makeover. It shows how a darker stone can make a room feel rich and inviting instead of heavy. Paired with pale walls, it becomes a striking feature; used alongside other deep shades, it creates a dramatic, boutique-hotel atmosphere.

How to Use Marble Mosaics at Home

The appeal of all three designs is how much impact a small area can have. A few ideas for bringing them into your own space:

  • Kitchen splashbacks: A strip of fluted or reeded marble behind a hob or sink adds texture and catches the light, lifting even simple cabinetry.
  • Shower walls and niches: Lining a recessed shelf or a single shower wall in mosaic creates a focal point without tiling the whole room.
  • Alcoves and feature walls: In a bathroom, cloakroom or even a living space, one tiled wall can define the room and draw the eye.
  • Behind a bath or vanity: Framing a freestanding bath or basin with stone gives an instant high-end look.

Grout colour makes a real difference with mosaics. A shade that matches the stone gives a seamless, calm finish, while a contrasting tone picks out the pattern and makes it feel more graphic. As with any natural stone, it is worth checking the manufacturer’s guidance on sealing and cleaning so the tiles keep their finish over time.

Small Spaces, Big Impact

Together, the three designs offer a clear choice of mood: soft and serene, bright and textured, or dark and dramatic. Each brings marble into a home in a practical way, without the cost of a full stone installation. They make a strong case for marble as something to have fun with, not something to save for best.
