Some materials never seem to date. A marble bar top, a limewashed wall, panelling that has darkened over decades: these are the details that make a room feel settled, as though it was always meant to look that way. They also tend to come with eye-watering price tags, specialist installation and, in the case of a rented home, a firm “no” from the landlord.
Hovia’s newest collection, Terra Forma, puts those materials on the wall in wallpaper form. It launches on 2nd November 2026 and features more than 26 murals that take natural surfaces as their starting point.
Where nature leads the design
The collection draws on marble, stone and aged wood. Rather than imitating them flatly, Hovia has tried to capture what makes them appealing in real life: the drift of veining through stone, the way a plaster wall shifts in tone as the light moves, the depth in a stretch of old timber. The result is a range with a quiet, considered feel. It is designed to sit in the background of a room and give it character rather than shout for attention.
Hovia’s Art Director, Lauren Kavanagh, explains that the team set out to create “a collection that felt like a true design staple”. She says marble, stone and wood have always sat at the heart of beautiful interiors because they feel “timeless, tactile and full of character”. The team noticed these materials becoming increasingly prominent across European design over the past year, but she is clear that Terra Forma isn’t about chasing a trend. Instead, she describes it as recognising the impact of materials that “never really go out of style”.
The designs to know
A few standouts from the launch imagery show the breadth of the collection.
Palazzo Green

Palazzo Green pairs pale, marbled veining with soft green tones, bringing the feel of a grand Italian hallway into a contemporary space. Its gentle movement and muted colouring make it a striking yet easy-to-live-with choice. It works well in dining rooms, kitchens and entrance halls where you want a sense of arrival.
Formstone Classic

Formstone Classic is the most dramatic design in the set. Its deep, wine-red stone pattern suits moody dining rooms, snugs or anywhere you want a jewel-box effect. Pair it with warm metallics and velvet upholstery for a rich, enveloping finish.
Stonewash Classic

Stonewash Classic goes the other way: a soft, chalky neutral with the gentle mottling of limewash. It is the one for anyone who loves a plastered wall but not the cost or mess of real plaster. It also makes a calm backdrop for curved furniture and natural textures.
Earthgrain Walnut

Earthgrain Walnut recreates rich, dark wood panelling. It adds instant warmth to living rooms and studies and works especially well under warm-toned lighting. Lighter furnishings and cream upholstery stop it from feeling heavy.
Fresco Terracotta

Fresco Terracotta brings sun-baked clay tones that sit beautifully alongside rattan, linen and plenty of greenery. It’s a relaxed, Mediterranean-leaning choice for living spaces and bedrooms.
More images from the Terra Forma collection will be added to this feature as they become available.
From boutique hotels to the family home
Terra Forma uses a palette of luxurious finishes and is designed to work in both contemporary and classic interiors. That flexibility shows in where Hovia sees it being used: boutique hotels, destination restaurants and high-end homes alike. For homeowners, the appeal is getting that hospitality-level finish on a domestic scale. A single feature wall in Formstone Classic or Earthgrain Walnut can change the mood of a room in a weekend.
Made to measure, made in Britain
Every Hovia wallpaper is printed to order and made to measure, so each mural fits the wall it’s going on. That approach also cuts down on waste from offcuts and over-ordering. The designs come from Hovia’s in-house team in Britain, and Terra Forma joins a curated range of more than 2,500 designs. For anyone who wants to go further, Hovia also offers custom adjustments to colour and layout, up to fully bespoke designs.
